Doctors Response: Dear Richa, While we are happy that you are seeing very clearly without glasses for distance and near, you have to compare yourself with your preoperative status and then evaluate whether you are better off or not. Intermediate Vision with Intraocular lenses, Dimness of Vision on exposure to bright light( Similar to coming out of a cinema theatre), reduction in contrast sensitivity are all limitations of the procedure in the individual eye for which we are constantly striving to improve as a scientific community. As of now, there is no single procedure that guarantees good distance, near, and intermediate vision lifelong in all patients. These limitations were explained to you prior to the procedure being performed and i would like to emphasise that further procedures are completely unwarranted as these effects are very minor in nature and the benefit  is minimal. These effects tend to wane with time and your eye is likely to adapt to the new changes very well in due course.
