acclaimed teachers, faculty members from Havard Medical School, AIIMS, etc.

update your relationship to ophthalmology on your facebook profile to enable
us to include you as a privileged member of our group. We offer two types of annual e-membership(non refundable) for our Facebook group with the following benefits 1. INDIAN OPHTHALMOLOGISTS The Annual Individual membership fees for Ophthalmologists from India is Rs 8000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand only) for Non AIOS members and is currently FREE for AIOS members (ALL INDIA OPHTHALMOLOGICAL SOCIETY) as well as invited members. Free membership by invitation is reserved for renowned Ophthalmologists who have contributed immensely to the field of Ophthalmology. Again, If you are a AIOS member, Kindly send your request to join our group along with your AIOS membership number to Dr Saravana Kodandapani at drsaravana@srivenkateshwaranethralaya.com. If you are not a AIOS member, we strongly recommend that you become a member and avail the free membership for IOA by clicking here. If you want to become a member of IOA without becoming a member of AIOS, kindly send a Demand Draft for Rs 8000/-( Rupees Eight Thousand only) payable at Bangalore in favour of Sri Venkateshwara Nethralaya. 2. Associate Membership:- This is meant for Optometrists, and other Paramedical Health care staff working in the Ophthalmic Industry who are interested in becoming members of our Group. For Optometrists and paramedical healthcare staff from India, the annual membership is Rs 25,000/- ( Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) and all the privileges extended to member ophthalmologists will also be extended to Associate Members except official voting privileges. Your can arrange to send a Demand Draft payable at Bangalore in favour of "Sri Venkateshwara Nethralaya" to our address mentioned above. You can also request us to send an online payment link through paycillin wallet by sending us a mail at drsaravana@srivenkateshwaranethralaya.com International Optometrists and other Paramedical health care staff can subscribe to our group resources using the link provided below. All associate members can enjoy all the privileges extended to member ophthalmologists except official voting privileges. Subscription charges once paid is non refundable under any circumstances. 3. Corporate Membership- This is meant for Eye Hospitals, Ophthalmic Equipment Manufacturing companies, Dealers and Pharmaceutical companies with the following benefits in addition to the benefits in individual membership a) Run promotional campaigns for New Equipments / Drugs / Etc b) Sell new equipment to other members without any additional commission to IOA c) Avail IOA certification to your new equipment after proper appraisal in the forum and enhance the value of your product. d) Enhance your network Globally by periodically communicating to over 1000 practicing ophthalmologists globally. The annual Corporate membership fees is USD 1000/- (One thousand U.S.Dollars only) and can be paid through Paypal(an ebay company). However as with Individual memberships, we do offer daily, weekly, monthly Corporate membership at highly competetive rates which can also be automatically renewed. Please note that this is a professional group created with an aim to foster fellowship and good etiquette among our fraternity as we network with one another so that everyone may benefit by utilizing a good service & sharing resources. We do acknowledge that individuals from different countries and cultures may have different attitudes towards issues and we are fairly lenient in our assesment of what constitutes "abuse" and "dishonourable conduct". In such cases, we adopt a progressive step wise disciplinary approach starting with a polite advisory notification. Complete ban of access to all our services is a last step that is undertaken as we really do not want to 'police' our members, but bad etiquette can really mess up the service for a lot of users and so, we try to keep an eye on things to promote the well being of all users. The Administrators are responsible for maintaining the decency and decorum of the group and in case of any dishonourable conduct from the members, the membership may be terminated leading to a complete ban on access to all IOA resources and no refunds given.
